Amanda
Team Leader
Amanda, pictured here with her dogs Mya and Dakota, has been working at Eltham Veterinary Practice since 2006. She has been the Head Veterinary Nurse now for a few years, having finished her Certificate 4 in Veterinary Nursing at Box Hill Tafe.
Amanda has had a big couple of years, becoming married to long time partner Brenton and building a house in Kinglake. You need a house on 8 acres when you have two horses, two dogs and two cats! Her two stunning horses; Cookie and Gem are both Australian Quarter Horses.
More about Amanda
Amanda’s interests range from horse riding with her thwo horses to being a fanatical Richmond Football Club supporter.
Amanda loves many aspects of her job, and in particular she says: ‘you can’t beat the satisfaction of seeing a pet back to health and reunited with its owners after a long hospital stay for a severe illness’. She also loves getting to know all our clients and pets, and enjoys giving professional advice that will improve pets lives.
Nicki

Nicki joined Eltham Vet in 2018 and has been in the industry for a couple of years, having previously worked as a Canine Rehabilitation Assistant. She has greatly expanded her skills set since being with us, and has completed her Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing becoming fully qualified in 2021.
With a love for anything outdoors, depending on the season you will find Nicki on the slopes snowboarding or down the river fishing. She also likes to spend her weekends camping and four wheel driving and is a big fan of country music.
More about Nicki
A true pro in the field, Nicki has been camping since she was 6 months old and had completed a full lap of Australia by age 2! (thanks to mum and dad!)
Nicki also has an interest in our native wildlife and is keen to learn more about how to treat and help our native species.
The dogs pictured with Nicki are her beautiful boys Cody, Roy & Stewie.

Nicole
Veterinary Nurse
Nicole started at EVP in June 2021 after relocating to Melbourne with her family and her dog Bella. After spending the majority of her life in NZ, Nicole’s husband Adam was presented with the opportunity to relocate to Doha for work, which they jumped at. After spending 2 years in Doha, they were excited at the offer to relocate again but this time to Dubai… spending 3 glorious years indulging in Middle Eastern cultures.

Lateisha
Veterinary Nurse
Lateisha has always had a passion for animal rescue, spending her first 2 years in the industry travelling NSW to assist with the rescue and rehabilitation of dogs and cats, which involved regular trips out to rural towns.
Having joined our team in 2021, Teish loves surgery and her biggest passion is scrubbing into all sorts of procedures where she can assist and learn from the vet. Her goal is to continue expanding her knowledge in the industry and to be an advocate for our beloved furry family members. Her own two rescue babies, Jasper and Haku are her world and they’re spoilt rotten.
More about Lateisha
During downtime, Teish loves nothing more than to be surrounded by nature on trips away with her partner Bailey. She also likes to spend time with close friends enjoying good food (Japanese cuisine being her fav) and a drink while attending gigs for some live music. Lateisha has a major sweet tooth, being obsessed with cakes and sweets and having dessert is a non-negotiable her for.

Temma
Veterinary Nurse
Temma has been captivated by animals from a young age, with a particular fondness for dogs and a deep-seated obsession with horses. As a child, Temma worked at a riding school, trading time for horse riding lessons—a formative experience that fuelled a lifelong commitment to equestrian pursuits. This dedication led Temma to own horses and ponies of her own. Growing up, she actively participated in Pony Club events, and eventually took on an Off-The-Track Thoroughbred to retrain up the levels in competitive eventing and show jumping.
More about Temma
Outside of her veterinary work, Temma maintains a vibrant lifestyle with a keen interest in fitness. She embraces various forms of exercise, including gym workouts and outdoor fitness activities. Despite Temma’s busy lifestyle, she cherishes leisurely moments enjoying a few drinks in the sunshine with friends.
Previously, Temma worked as a head barista and continues to work as a barista on the weekends
