Meet Bobby Byrne, the charming little tan French Bulldog with a personality as warm as his colour, and a character as unique as his little wonky ear! Bobby belongs to the wonderful Bianca and her family, and if you’ve ever met him, you’ll know just how friendly this little guy is
A few months back, Bianca, who has a background in the veterinary field herself, noticed that Bobby wasn’t quite his usual bouncy self. He had developed a slight limp in one of his back legs. Now, being the conscientious and loving dog mum that she is, Bianca didn’t waste any time – she brought Bobby straight into Eltham Veterinary Practice to see us 
After a thorough check-up, we discovered that Bobby was suffering from luxating patella – essentially, both of his kneecaps were popping out of place. This condition is fairly common in French Bulldogs, but that didn’t make it any easier for Bobby
The good news is, Bobby is a little fighter! He’s since had both knees operated on, thanks to the expert hands of Dr. Steve Pryor, and with the help of some hydrotherapy 
Bobby is making an excellent recovery. He’s back to his cheerful self, and we’re so proud of his progress!Here’s to Bobby, the brave little Frenchie with an unbreakable spirit. If you see him bouncing around on his walks, give him a wave – he’s earned it!
