Eltham Veterinary Practice proudly announces that “PAWS IN THE PARK PET EXPO 2013” will be staged at Alastair Knox Park, on Sunday, APRIL 7th at 10.00am.You might note the slight name change this year. We have a number of added activities for you and your pets – its definitely more than just a walk. Alastair Knox Park is a great venue with plenty of room for stall holders, the Coursing Lure, the staging of the Pet Parade and this year Melbourne Dog Freestyle in the attractive Eltham parkland environment.

Why Paws in the Park Pet Expo??
1) responsible pet ownership,
2) keeping pets & owners healthy
3) socialisation of dogs.
4) having fun with your pet

What dog doesn’t want to have fun!

The event starts at 10am with registration. The walk itself is either a 2 km or a 4 km walk along the Diamond Creek Trail. It commences at 10.30am and every entrant who completes the walk will receive a show bag of goodies.

Once you’re back from the walk, you’re invited to join us for a barbeque, to check out stalls, grab a coffee from the coffee truck, or have your favourite friend contest the dog lure race.

The Pet Parade is also great fun for any dog lover, and generally attracts many contestants vying for the honour of “best trick”, or the “best dressed dog” if previous years are anything to go by. And this year we are also running a “Surprise” category with some great prizes that anyone can win.

So put April 7th in your Diary and bring yourselves and your canine friends along for 3 hours of special doggy fun.
